Facebook and Intel win Doom-game with artificial intelligence
Intel and Facebook are the big winners in a contest in which the game Doom from 1993, with artificial intelligence should be played.
The system of Facebook was the big winner at the part where there are so-called deathmatch match had to be played on a pre-announced map. There could only be a rocket launcher to be used. Facebook won ten of the twelve jars.
Intel won another part, where there are three unknown cards must be played. Also the systems of different weapons, making the systems so many more factors into account. Also, Intel won ten of the twelve jars.
At ViZDoom, as the league is called, the computer systems only have access to the images on the screen; the artificial intelligence should so in the same way to play as people.
The league was founded by the Polish researcher Wojciech Jaśkowski to the research in artificial intelligence and machine learning to boost.
