(Reuters) – Facebook Inc’s (FB.(O) said on Friday that the united states, on the basis of the political candidates, to enter the branded content on the social networks.
Branded content has been created by a well-known or powerful people to promote a post on social media.
While Facebook requires content creators to maintain the confidentiality of all of the paid to the partnership, it does not take into account any such content, advertising, because the company does not have a charge for it.
“After hearing from more than one campaign, and we agree, that there is a place for branded content in the political discourse in our platforms,” a spokesperson for the company said.
Facebook said the specific content of the political advertisers will not be listed in the Ad Library, and a transparent tool for political advertising, unless it is promoted with the help of your company’s promotional tools.
