Arsenal coach Unai Emery should fear a suspension. The Spaniard is Thursday by the English football association FA sued because of the kicking of a water bottle in the away game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Emery kicked Wednesday out of frustration a bottle away and became a fan of Brighton. The 47-year-old manager offered his apologies to the supporters.
For the FA were the excuses apparently not enough. Emery gets to Wednesday 2 January, the time to respond to the complaint. In the next match of Arsenal against Liverpool, will he Saturday, so anyway, still on the couch.
Arsenal played at the Amex Stadium with a 1-1 draw against Brighton. The ‘Gunners’ came early in the match to lead by a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Ten minutes before the rest drew Jürgen Locadia for the equalizer.
For Locadia, it was the first competitietreffer of the season. The Dutch attacker came this season in three Premier League matches in action for Brighton.
