Germany put extra police in to moslimcentra in the city of Dresden to secure, after Monday two improvised explosive devices afgingen at a mosque and an international conference centre.

No one was at the explosions injured.

The president of the Dresden police suspect that behind the exploses “xenophobic motives” are hidden. The attacks are not yet claimed.

The police think that there is also a link with events for the coming weekend planned for the German reunification celebration. The extra security applies directly to three mosques, a community centre and a prayer room.

Dresden is the place where anti-islamgroep Pegida weekly demonstrations organised. The tensions in Germany are incurred after the arrival of almost a million refugees.

In the east of Germany have already been multiple attacks on vluchtelingencentra. The anti-islampartij AfD approves the attacks: “A building attacks where people worship God is barbaric, whether it be a church, mosque, or synagogue.”
