Exhibition about the friendship Rembrandt and Six in Rembrandt house

The friendship between Rembrandt and Jan Six is central in an exhibition next month opens in The Rembrandt house Museum in Amsterdam. The exhibition gives a picture of their band in the heyday of the seventeenth century on the basis of the famous etching that Rembrandt made of his friend.
According to the museum is by the book, The lives of Jan Six by Geert Mak the friendship between the two men “more than ever, come to life”.

The exhibition, which is shown from 8 may to 3 september, shows in addition to works from the Six Collection, also on loan from the Rijksmuseum and the Amsterdam Museum.
