Esther Vergeer, seven times paralympic champion, and the tennis, and will soon be getting a daughter through a surrogate mother.
“Sometimes when you have something beautiful and unique to make it, you will need the help of an extra heart. We are so excited to announce that we are in september with a little girl on it’s way!”, writing the 38-year-old Vergeer is on Twitter.
The Telegraph says that the doctors did not advice her to get herself pregnant, as she is due to abnormalities in the blood in the womb, the womb and the spinal cord have an increased risk of bleeding.
“It was a real break-up. It felt as though as something was taken, where you don’t have the direction have be unable to you. And to think that there is, in principle, there’s nothing wrong with my fertility.”
