The Dutch team begins the kwalificatiereeks for the european CHAMPIONSHIPS of 2020 Thursday with a home match against belarus. What do we know about the team that the Orange have so often found?
It was hardly a surprise that belarus is at the beginning of december from the tube rolled in the draw in Dublin. The Eastern Europeans are the last years ‘regular customer’ in the kwalificatiepoule of the Netherlands.
The countries were opposite each other on the way to the european CHAMPIONSHIPS of 1996, 2004 and 2008 and the world CHAMPIONSHIPS of last year. Of the eight confrontations won Orange six and was White-Russia two-times the best. The last meeting, on October 7, 2017 in Borisov, ended in 1-3.
“But there is in the Netherlands now has a new generation with many young players, so we have that match in the Borisov Arena to be forgotten,” said coach Igor Kriushenko after the draw for the european CHAMPIONSHIP qualifier full of confidence.
“Every game stands on. We will be filled with the struggle to deal with the Netherlands and Germany. There are always opportunities. Against the other countries, we can ensure a good result.”

The BENEFIT under the leadership Hleb appointment
In contrast to Orange works Kriushenko since his appointment in march 2017 with a largely solid and experienced core at the White-Russians. The main forces have been playing for years in the own competition, with BATE Borisov appointment.
The defender believes that the last thirteen years won the national championship, with a number of six the most players. Three of them – Stanislav Dragun, Igor Stasevich and, of course, Aleksandr Hleb, are good for 180 international matches.
With four players it is White-Russian Dynamo Brest is also well represented in the 23-strong selection of Kriushenko’s, who obviously bet on experience.
In his 23-man selection are no less than eleven players who are thirty years of age or older. The average age is 29 years, which no other country in the european CHAMPIONSHIPS-qualification can match.

White-Russians had strong 2018
The trust will be in belarus in any case not lie, because the number 76 of the UEFA ranking has a well-2018 behind the back, in which only one time was lost. Only Finland was in a friendly international match with 24 strong.
Furthermore, six times and won three times gelijkgespeeld. It should however be noted that the White-Russians ended up in the paper-weak division D of the Nations League against Moldova, Luxembourg and San Marino.
