Defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has to undergo surgery to his knee, reports his club Fulham on Friday. The 21-year-old Dutchman is therefore no longer in action this season.
Fosu-Mensah hit last week, injuring his knee in the win Premier League match with Everton (2-0). He was doing damage to his kniebanden. It is still unclear how long he needs to recover.
For the rehabilitation will Fosu-Mensah returned to Manchester United, where he stayed until the summer of 2020 under the contract. The already relegated Fulham hired a defender this season from United.
Triple international Fosu-Mensah came to this season, only thirteen duels for Fulham. Last season he was also already been leased by United. When he played 24 matches for Crystal Palace.
