A private jet, which formerly belonged to the “King of Rock and Roll” and is decorated with red velvet seats, gold plated accents, and the red plush carpet,” is at the auction, according to the auction site Iron Planet.

The sale of the 1962 Lockheed Jetstar was revealed this week after it was made available by the current owner, who previously purchase for $ 430,000, The Associated Press reported.
In a statement to the outlet, IronPlanet said the jet has been grounded in Roswell, New Mexico, and the current owner did not make any changes to this piece of history.”
The company added that the aircraft has become a popular stop for tourists and is privately owned for more than 35 years.”

The purchase comes with “All FAA documents & invoices with the previous owner of Elvis Presley,” the auction site said, adding that the engines and a number of items from the cockpit are “missing”.
The auction is currently scheduled for 27 July, even though the website said it would be even faster than that.
