Elton John works with a subscription service that vinyl offers
Elton John and Quincy Jones were two of the artists who are on the new vinyl subscription service Experience Vinyl.
Also George Clinton, Talib Kweli and Sean Lennon will have the cooperation promised.
According to Billboard get music lovers for about $ 30 (28€) a vinyl record per month, which includes personal commentary from the artist. The subscription also includes a top ten list of the best albums according to the artist. Subscribers receive exclusive invitations to concerts and can join winacties and travel.
“It is a kind of record store, where artists perform their favorite vinyl records to choose and tell why they cannot do without this album live,” says Brad Hammonds, founder of the Vinyl Experience. “Who can well better the best music recommend than the artists themselves?”
Elton John will be a part of the proceeds to donate to his own AIDS Foundation.
The service is from april available in the United States. Or the service is also available in the Netherlands, is not known.
