Elon Musk testing ship to help save the football team in the cave
SpaceX founder shares a video of child-sized submarine that can be used in cave rescue attempts in Thailand.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk apologized in a tweet Wednesday for apparently accusing of a British diver who helped with the rescue of 12 boys and their football coach a Thailand cave last week of a pedophile.
The war of words began after the tech billionaire has proposed using a mini-sub to the cave and rescue the children, which cave diver Vern Unsworth being called useless.
“Nevertheless, his actions against me, not to justify my actions against him, and for that I apologize to Mr Unsworth and the companies that I represent as a leader,” Musk tweeted. “The error is mine and mine only.”

Musk claimed that his words were “spoken in anger” after Unsworth reportedly told him to “engage in a sexual act with the mini-sub.”
Unsworth, who played a key role in the rescue, is not excluded that a legal action against Musk for his twitter attack.
Unsworth said on Tuesday that he has been approached by the British and American lawyers and legal advice with regard to the incident, Reuters reported.
Musk visit to the Thai cave where the team was caught and left a mini-submarine in case it could benefit workers. Musk called it a “child-sized” sub, called the Wild Boar — with reference to the football team — and posted pictures of the ship that is being tested in a swimming pool in California.
Unsworth said the sub would not work, and called Musk actions “are just a PR-stunt.”
“The was absolutely no chance of working. He had no idea of what the cave passage was. The submarine I believe it was about 5 feet, 6 inches long, stiff, so it would not have gone round corners or round any obstacles,” Unsworth said. “It was not the first 50 meters in the cave of the swim start point. It was just a PR stunt.”
Musk shot back in a series of now-deleted tweets that compliments the Thai Navy SEALs, but crushed Unsworth, where he questioned the water level in the cave and whether or not “you would literally have to swim.”
“We will make one of the mini-sub/pod goes all the way to the Cave 5 no problemo. Sorry pedo man, you really did have to ask.”
