According to Entertainment Tonight, “The Ellen Show” host said the man told her that he needed to feel her breasts because her mother recently had a breast removed after a cancer diagnosis, and he needed to have her body for lumps.

“He told me that when she was out of the city he had felt a lump in her breast and needed to feel my breasts because he wanted to not be angry at her, but he had to feel mine,” DeGeneres, 61, said.

DeGeneres said she was mad at herself because she does not stand up to her attacker. “It’s really terrible, terrible story and the only reason that I am actually going to go into detail about it is because I want that other girls do not ever let someone do that,” she told Letterman.

The host added that they hid the abuse from her mother for a few years, and when she did and tell her that they don’t believe her “and then continued with [her husband] for 18 years.” DeGeneres said that finally, her mother left her husband “because he had changed the story so often.”
