Warren appeared on Wednesday along with a number of other 2020 Democratic candidates in The people’s Forum in Houston, the discussion of issues related to women of color.

The Massachusetts senator announced on the stage of a plan to reduce the maternal mortality rate among black women, while the identification to be a problem with how they are treated.

“And it is a specific problem, as you recognized correctly, for the women of color, said the three, four times more likely to die at birth,” Warren.
