Democratic presidential candidate sen. Elizabeth Warren announced on Friday a new plan to ban private prisons, the companies that are behind them, “to wring billions out of the taxpayers ‘Federation” and the loss of security, “increase your bottom-line.”

“The government has a fundamental responsibility, to keep the people in his care, for sure, not to use their punishment as an opportunity for profit. That’s why today I propose my plan, at the root once and for all, the profit incentives perverted our criminal and immigration systems”, the populist two-term senator from Massachusetts said, as she unveiled her proposal.

Found Warren, that from 2000 to 2016, the private prison population grew five times faster than the General population in prison. And they emphasized that about 4,000 companies currently making money off of mass incarceration.

The progressive senator who rises in the polls in the race for the democratic presidential nomination, argues that the green light from President Trump management, “have made private prisons, millions, the implementation of Trump’s cruel immigration policy, as the number of incarcerated children increased five-fold in a single year.”

Warren illuminated, nearly three-quarters of the detained immigrants are held in private prisons.

“The private entities, prisons, higher rates of attacks than the Federal. You are in breach of Federal rules by incarcerated people in solitary still fit more bodies in the building,” she calculated. “You imposed forced labor on immigrants, just to make money. Several prisoners have committed suicide. And now, under the trump, babies get sick and die from their prisons.”

Warren said she would.prohibit private Federal prisons and detention facilities, the termination of all contracts that the Bureau of prisons and ICE, have with the private prison provider

“And I’m going to these prohibitions are added to extend to the States and local governments by conditioning receipt of Federal public security, the financing of which added to their use of public facilities,” she said.

Warren’s plan would also stop the contractor from charging service fees for basic services for prisoners, such as telephone conversations, bank transfers, health and care. And your proposal would expand oversight, transparency and enforcement of them.

Warren’s plan is the latest in a series of detailed policy proposals, they rolled out, since the formal Start of her presidential campaign in February.
