Elf on the shelf is life on the International Space Station

If you are a parent with young children, you probably have trouble where to put The Elf on the Shelf and may eventually run out of places.

Here’s an idea – how about putting it in the space?

The popular children’s book/toy is life on the International Space Station, according to a tweet from NASA astronaut Anne McClain.

NASA ASTRONAUT DESCRIBES DEEP POTENTIAL’ BREAKTHROUGH SPACE EXPERIMENTS

“Well, you look to @Space_Station!” McClain tweeted on Tuesday. “I think we are all good now! I hope that with his mischievous ways, that he is not in something important! We will have to wait and see….”

McClain followed with a tweet on Wednesday, saying that “Elves must think that everything needs ribbon and a bow!”

The ISS just got a delivery of a SpaceX Dragon capsule, which included a christmas dinner and various other goodies, to The Sun. It is therefore possible that the Elf hopped on board and is now one of the most prominent dolls in the room.

McClain is a member of the ISS earlier this month, from the Kazakhstan aboard a Soyuz rocket, along with David Saint-Jacques of the Canadian Space Agency and Oleg Kononenko of the Russian space agency Roscosmos. Her stint on the space lab will be at the end of June 2019.
