Eight dead in attack on peacekeeping mission in Mali
In an armed attack on the basis of the peacekeeping mission of the United Nations in the Malian city of Timbuktu Monday seven deaths. It comes to five Malian security guards, a cop and a citizen.
According to a spokesperson of the UN is the base attacked by unknown men with machine guns. According to the army of Mali, four of the attackers were killed at the turn of the attack.
In the Malian municipality of Douentza was Monday, an armed attack. There opened a men fire on members of the UN peacekeeping force and soldiers of the army of Mali. A staff member from the UN is killed.
Islamic militants have often coined on the Malian peacekeeping mission. With more than one hundred UN staff were killed, it is the most deadly mission to date.
