The officials in Egypt to have a temporary shutdown of the hot air balloon flights in Luxor after a recent trip went very, very wrong.
On Thursday the 11th of tourists to take part in a sightseeing hot air balloon flight over the territory of the ancient temples had been blown off-course by a strong wind, leaving them in the desert west of Luxor.
Nearly 360 of the tourists take part in a hot-air balloon tours over the city of Luxor and the surrounding area, as can be seen here in a 2007 photo.

All 11 passengers, including five from India, four from China, one from england and one from the land of Egypt – a safe to be picked up after a search plane is in the balloon, which had landed safely, after the operator has reset the control.
After the incident, a hot air balloon flight over Luxor have been suspended while officials conduct inspections of the companies running the tours, the Associated Press reported.

Thursday’s incident comes nearly a year-and-a-half after reports of a tourist who was killed after a sightseeing tour, balloon over Luxor and crashed while trying to navigate through the strong winds.
In 2013, during the 19 tourists who were killed after a sightseeing balloon that caught fire and caused an explosion in the cylinder.
The use of a hot-air balloon exploded and plunged to earth at Egypt’s ancient temple city of Luxor during a sunrise flight on Feb. 26, 2013, killing up to 19 tourists.
Nearly 360 of tourists take hot air balloon rides over Luxor and each and every day, according to the Associated Press.
