Editor-in-chief Omroep West, leaves
Editor-in-chief Renzo Veenstra departs at Omroep West. He takes over on 1 september farewell of the regional station. Doe was six years at the helm of the West.
The editor-in-chief has chosen “to go towards other functions within the media and online world”, reports the station Monday. The broadcaster is disappointed that Doe is, but respects his choice.
“I have, after a long career with the national broadcaster, with a lot of fun at one of the finest regional broadcasters the ability to work in a fantastic team,” he says. “We have turbulent years had with impending mergers, budget cuts and a new media law. But never has the public of West of them noticed anything. In fact, we have grown into a leading news organization in the region.”
It is not yet known who Doe followed.
