Dutch soldiers longer in Afghanistan

The mission in Afghanistan will be extended by one year. That decision by the cabinet Friday, reporting insiders in The Hague.

They confirm prompt notification by RTL News. About a hundred Dutch soldiers deliver from Mazar-e-Sharif is a contribution to the NATO mission Resolute Support.

The Dutch soldiers advise and train higher Afghan officials of the army and police. The NATO mission went to the end of 2014, and counts of 12,000 soldiers. In June, the Atlantic alliance the mission after 2017 to continue.
