Dutch sick woman evacuated from cruise ship in south Pole

A Dutch woman who is presumably a stroke has been given, as quickly as possible is evacuated from a cruise ship.
That is a whole operation, because the ship MV Ortelius cruise in the Antarctic. It shifts its course to the American McMurdo Station, a research station on a small island on the edge of Antarctica.
The ship had then Monday until the evacuation, it was decided to have 620 miles to the station. From there, the 66-year-old Dutch to New Zealand flown.
The New Zealand Reddingscoördinatiecentrum (RCCNZ) are expected Wednesday with a flight. The situation of women is, according to the rescue service stable.
