The return of the Formula 1-circus on the Circuit of Zandvoort is next racing season for everyone on television to see. Ziggo Sport, the Dutch Grand Prix for free, also for people without a Ziggo subscription.
“The popularity of Formula 1 in the Netherlands is greater than ever. With the advent of the Grand Prix at Zandvoort the world of F1 even closer. The Netherlands is already living massively. And that is why we want the F1 Dutch GP-race weekend Zandvoort free to broadcast for the whole of the Netherlands. Because of such a uniquely English event everyone can enjoy,” says manager Will Moerer.
It is for the first time in 35 years that a Formula 1-race in the Netherlands will be held. The last time was in 1985, when triple world champion Niki Lauda triumphed on the circuit of Zandvoort. The Austrian died last Monday at the age of seventy.
