Dutch families on Italian camping evacuated after severe weather events
Again, the Dutch tourists in Italy hit by severe weather events. Last night was in the region of Cavallino (near Venice) damage at several campgrounds, including by omgewaaide trees.
Of the approximately fifty families who, through Neckermann Travel and Free From holidays by car, about twenty families were evacuated.
They were accommodated in hotels, sports halls or churches in the area because of the threat of falling trees. No one was injured.
Half of them is now in the direction of gone home because their holiday on Saturday, yet all would sit, late a spokeswoman for the travel agencies to know. The others wait for things to be cleaned up.
Furthermore, it is a family that Saturday would be rebooked. Their caravan is no longer habitable.
Wednesday night were vacationers at the lake Garda in Italy had already been hit by large hailstones. This went under other many of the windows of cars and caravans destroyed.
