Dunkirk still at 70mm to see
The new film Dunkirk of director Christopher Nolan is still at 70mm to see in the Netherlands. EYE film institute, Thursday announced known the film from Wednesday 16 August to exhibit the particular film format.
It’s going to be an exclusive distribution in the Benelux.
Distributor Warner Bros. showed last week even know, as yet, no plans to have Dunkirk in 70mm in the Netherlands.
Director Nolan and the Dutch cameraman Hoyte van Hoytema decided to Dunkirk on 65/70mm turning. The widescreen format makes for some time a rise, although the digital run is the norm.
EYE is one of the few theatres in the Benelux which is the 70mm format can still show. In the United States, there are 125 rooms where Dunkirk in 70mm. The oorlogfilm tells about the evacuation of one hundred thousand British and French soldiers in the Second world War by the nazis, were surrounded on the beaches of Dunkirk.
The digital version of Dunkirk is from 20 July in the cinemas to see.
