Dua Lipa was “shocked” when guards allegedly forced a number of fans of a Shanghai concert on Wednesday for waving LGBTQ flags.

In videos posted to social media from the show, guards appear yank members of the audience out of the hall and with one press on the outside around.

Cameras didn’t catch LGTBQ flag-waving, that have occurred before the audience started to film.

A woman who was ejected from the concert with her daughter, told the BBC that the police were “heavy-handed” and “aggressive” and she kicked just for standing up during the show.

Last night I did it for my fans. A promised show. I was with them, she sang and danced with them. I will stand by you all for your love and faith and I am proud and grateful that you felt safe enough to show that you are proud of my show. What you did takes a lot of courage. I always want my music to bring strength, hope and unity. I was shocked by what happened and I send love to all my fans involved. I would love to come back for my fans when the time is right and hopefully a room full of rainbows. I love you Shanghai xx
