As a passenger on a Frontier Airlines flight, was detained by Las Vegas police after he served as a pilot in the arrivals area of the airport.

Authorities said the man, who has not been identified publicly, became a pilot at an International Airport, Hotel to port, after the crew has decided that the passenger was too drunk to board the plane.

Airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said the man and slapped the pilot twice, and after the pilot project was to intervene in a quarrel between the husband and the members of the crew are in the vicinity of the Frontier Airlines gates.

Las Vegas Police Officer Alejandra Zambrano said that the pilot refused medical attention, and the 49-year-old man was issued a misdemeanor battery summons after the incident, which occurred a little before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

In a statement to Fox News, Frontier Airlines has confirmed the incident and said the airline is working with the Las Vegas police department.

“Frontier Airlines is working with the local police after an incident at McCarran International Airport (LAS) on Wednesday afternoon, with a passenger, who, in his flight, had been attacked in a Border, as a pilot in the gate area,” the statement said. “The pilot is concerned, is not in need of medical attention, and we would like to acknowledge the professionalism of our team during the event. The protection of the safety and security of the members of our team and passengers is our number one priority.”
