Drew Barrymore is telling it like it is.
It is not always glitz and glamour for the 43-year-old actress, who admitted on Thursday that she has her fair share of rough patches just like everyone else. Barrymore shared two photos on her Instagram from a photo shoot and another selfie of themselves without make-up and crying.
“Some days are big and beautiful,” the “Santa Clarita-Diet,” star began. “Sure, I can do this with two hours of hair and make-up and beautiful photography and lighting. I also feel beautiful after a sweaty workout. But it all takes work! That’s good, because we can reach.”

“What I can’t hide is that some days are difficult and not so beautiful,” she continued. “And I realize that I am happy with the problems to be solved, and my gratitude is never-ending. But sometimes it can also be just to you and take you for a minute! But we cry and when we got up and put one foot in front of the other. Can anyone imagine that?”
The candid message comes a day after Barrymore launched a new five-part series called #TheWayItLooksToUs. After going to her children to school in sweatpants and not feel ‘ a good mother,” Barrymore started “beating up on myself.”

“It is so typical of what parents do to themselves,” she expressed in an Instagram video. “I began to think that this hashtag #TheWayItLooksToUs and I was already hopping with inspiration. I want a five-part series of #TheWayItLooksToUs, and I invite you in the way it’s supposed to see, and the way it really is. I’ll do the same back.”
Aside from her earlier post, the Never been Kissed leading lady has already talked about the wellness and children.
