Dozens rescued after sinking tourist boat Malaysia
At least 25 Chinese people are found alive and found after the tourist boat where they were in sank off the coast of Borneo. On board were 31 passengers, among whom 28 are Chinese.
Six people are still missing.
The ship left Saturday around 9.00 am (local time) from Kota Kinabula, the capital of the eastern province of Sabah, and was on the road to the tourist popular island, Pulau Mengalum, reported the coast guard of Sabah and the island of Labuan. Around 9.50 pm, the boat reported missing.
Bad weather conditions hampered the search. “We are looking at a strong wind and a rough sea, and have the support of the air force asked for,” said the agent.
