Dozens of deaths in rebel assault in Central African Republic
Rebels certainly have 26 citizens killed during an attack on a village in the Central African Republic. It is the bloodiest incident in several months.
The killings took place in the village Ndomete, not far from the town of Kaga- – Bandoro. The rebels of Seleka, a moslimbeweging who opposes the christian majority in the CAR. Seleka has the attack, however, not yet claimed.
According to a spokesperson of the police went to the rebels along the doors and killed everyone they in the houses found.
The violence between christians and muslims in the country over the past week resurfaced.
The country has for years been in crisis since the Seleka in 2013, the christian president by moslem rebels was deposited. A fifth of the population has fled to violence to escape.
In February, there were presidential elections, but the profit of the former prime minister Faustin-Archange Touadera only in the capital Bangui, only rest. In the rest of the country rages the battle.
