Dozen Ajax wins leader PSV and reduces the gap to two points

Ajax has Sunday the tension in the battle for the title in the Eredivisie completely reduced. The Locals won in an extremely exciting attraction with ten-man handsome with a 3-1 leader PSV and verkleinden the gap to two points.

Ajax came in the first half lead through an own goal from Daniel Schwaab, and then PSV in the second half the balance in balanced thanks to a hit of Luuk de Jong. The home team pulled eventually to the longest end by a rake penalty kick from Dusan Tadic and a goal from David Neres.

Ajax had just after resting in a 1-0 mode with ten men after a red card for Noussair Mazraoui. Referee Bjorn Kuipers gave the first yellow for his kick in the direction of the head of Angeliño, but after the intervention of the videoscheidsrechter was that color map yet converted into red.

Kuipers also had the help of the VAR in the penaltymoment. He saw initially, nothing in a violation of Schwaab on Neres, but he also had that decision not much later rollback.

Both PSV as well as Ajax in the remaining seven speelrondes still a number of tricky away games ahead of us. The team of Mark van Bommel still on a visit to Vitesse and AZ and At the Hag with Willem II and FC Groningen.

Ajax starts aggressively contest

Ajax started again with the fit Hakim Ziyech in the base and Tadic in the rush hour, as expected, aggressive to the match against PSV. The home team tried an early openingsdoelpunt force and did so almost in, but a header from Donny van de Beek was over for the line addressed by Denzel Dumfries.

PSV played with three checkers (Jorrit Hendrix, Michal Sadílek and Pablo Rosario) and lay especially on the counter. The visitors got on that way also two kansjes, but which were not spent on Luuk de Jong (wide instead of shooting) and Hirving Lozano (gagged by Daley Blind).

After a small fifteen minutes took PSV but gradually the initiative and the 0-1 seemed to hang in the air. The team made too many bad choices in the decisive phase there is also really claim to be, thus, Ajax could afford to take the necessary space to give away to the pressure.

It was even Ajax in the 21st minute the lead came. A cross from Ziyech seemed to be a simple prey for goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet, but Schwaab tapped the ball at the last moment for his hands away, causing the ball agonizingly slowly over the line disappeared.

After 1-0 tilts back the spelbeeld

With the 1-0 was turned upside down also the spelbeeld. Ajax was again the parent party, but did in the remainder of the first half very little with the many possession of the ball. Only Ziyech lap once or twice from a great distance, but both of these bets yielded no problems for Sweet.

In the opening stages of the second half was initially low, until Mazraoui from the field was sent for the charge on Angeliño and PSV then equal hit with the equalizer of The Young, who in a flurry of Angeliño earlier at the ball than the blunderende André Onana.

PSV failed then to the competition in the slot to throw. That was with the name Steven Bergwijn to count. The attacker refused to accept the ball wide to lay on Lozano and went for their own success, but his shot with the left disappeared over next to the goal of Onana.

Ajax, there could be nothing in front, but was a quarter of an hour for time, just back in the saddle, helped by Schwaab. The defender committed at the height of the dead ball line for a stupid violation of Neres, which Kuipers after studying the video footage couldn’t otherwise beyond the ball on the dot. Tadic did not fail.

PSV had, therefore, in the final stage, turn it back on, and with Donyell Times in the national team for Sadílek was unprecedented exciting in the last quarter. Ajax held by no less than six defenders stand and even ran in the injury time still to 3-1 through Neres (nice attack), making it even on all sides can go in the race for the championship.
