DoorDash hack leaks data of 4.9 million people, and restaurants

(Ap) – the food delivery service DoorDash Inc. said on Thursday there was a data breach and the information pertaining to 4.9 million customers, the performance of the managers and restaurants that can be walked.

The data has been accessed by an unauthorized third party on the 4th of May, the company said in a blog post.

The last four numbers of the credit cards for some consumers, and the last four digits of the account numbers for some of the delivery officers and the restaurants can be walked.

It may also be a profile of information, such as your name, e-mail, delivery address, telephone number, as well as driver’s licence numbers-of nearly 100,000 delivery is a possibility.

The San Francisco-based company, I have come to know of the security breach, earlier this month, saying that the investigation into the incident. The users that have had it plugged in and after April 5, 2018, were not affected, but DoorDash has said.
