HARRISBURG, Pa. – Officials in Pennsylvania say they are already overwhelmed with donations for the three children who police say were starved and locked in a room like caged animals.

The police says that the children were locked in a room in Halifax Township, with no heat and little food. The authorities say that two were close to death, when the researchers found this month.
Joshua and Brandi Weyant face charges including aggravated assault and false imprisonment. Their relationship with the children is unclear.
A spokeswoman for the county Children Youth Services says authorities have also noticed a crowdfunding online efforts to raise money for the children.
