In his address, a tearful Mr revealed (via TMZ) that he tried to get Beth to ” call [him] ‘Dog’ for so many years, and they finally did it on her death-bed she told him, “Hawaiian style, [memorial], please contact Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman, … to do it right.”

“She loved Hawaii, and loved by the people. Of the people, and in particular that they liked,” he told the crowd. “No, thank you, and God bless all of you.”

Duane, 66, announced, ” Beth’s passing on Twitter on Tuesday, writing, “It’s 5:32 in the Hawaiian islands, this is the time when she would wake up to go hiking at Koko Head mountain. Just today, she ran up the stairs to the sky. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side of it.”

A Colorado memorial is planned for the end of the star.
