Rep. Keith Ellison was accused of emotional and physical abuse by a former girlfriend. He said that it never happened.
The co-Chairman of the democratic National Committee, rep. Keith Ellison, you know, because of the emotional and physical abuse by an ex-girlfriend that said: “you, You did this to me.”
Ellison responded to the accusations on Sunday, issuing a short statement that said, “I behaved.”
The allegations on Saturday night showed up by Karen Monahan after her son allegedly in a Facebook post that he had seen text messages from Ellison threatens her, and a video of the Congressman shouting of obscenities, as he dragged her from the bed, sending her feet, The Associated Press.

“My brother and I saw mom come out of the pure hell to get out of your relationship with Keith Ellison,” the 25-year-old Austin Monahan said.
On Sunday, Karen Monahan said, that what is written, her son, was the truth.

“Any statement he had made was true. @Keith Ellison, you know, you got me,” she tweeted.
Karen Monahan has not responded to a request from The Associated Press you ask for copies of the video or text messages.
“Karen and I were in a long-term relationship, which ended in the year 2016, and I said still very much at the heart for your well-being,” Ellison. “This video does not exist, since I was never in this way, and any characterization otherwise is wrong.”
The allegations come days before Democratic voters will choose between Ellison and the other candidates in a Tuesday primary for attorney General.

Ellison posted photos on his Twitter account, posing him with Monahan.
Earlier on Sunday, Ellison’s rivals in the race for attorney General demanded that he respond to the accusations, WCCO-TV reported.
Matt Pelikan and former Minnesota House Speaker Debra Hilstrom called the accusations disturbing, the station reported.
Another candidate in the race, the former Ramsey County Attorney Tom Foley, said that the allegations were serious, according to the station.
“If there are data and video to be rotated about its interaction with the victim, the materials should also to law enforcement for immediate investigation,” he said.

The station reported that reach of the Austin Monahan and left a message on the phone is to be believed, was not returned.
