Disneyland announces new Tropical Retreat experience

Disneyland and island fans are about to get a double dose of excitement with the parks latest announcement, a Tropical Retreat experience.

The theme park, located in Anaheim, california, has revealed in a blog post that a new exotic destination to Adventureland, complete with a “traders” market, with all the sights, sounds and tastes of the tropics.”

The “one-of-a-kind destination” will be a resting stop for those who are tired of Adventureland’s more intense coaster offers such as the Indiana Jones Adventure ride and Splash Mountain.

The retreat will be located “along the tropical coast, nestled between the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room,'” in the place of the former Aladdin’s Oasis, according to the blog post.

This latest attraction announcement weeks after the park for treatment for their fee.

Two weeks ago, the park announced that their one-day ticket prices will see a 9 percent increase, which is a top-day ticket to $124, $135. The annual passes increased significantly, climbing to $619 $729 (us) for the regular option.
