Disney World end popular fireworks show after 19 years

Disney World is the end of a popular fireworks show in 2019, but will be replaced by a new attraction.

After 19 years, one of Disney’s classic night show is finally to an end. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, the evening spectacle that lit up Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon since 1999, not more.

The gripping narrative of the Earth, the origin of the creation to the community has long been a crowd favorite, performed nightly in the centre of Epcot 11 country pavilions. IllumiNations’ last show was not up to the end of the following summer, but fortunately, his replacement will be right back.

According to Disney Parks Blog, the next show “will debut immediately” after IllumiNations’ final bow, allowing guests yet another reason to visit the parks in 2019 than Mickey Mouse the first stage and the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in the late autumn.

What exactly is going to Epcot’s new nighttime extravaganza entail? No one is sure, but it is likely that the Enlightenment’s successor will feature well-known characters more often seen in parks like Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom. Disney’s dedication to updating the theme park to a family-friendly destination is the driving force for a multi-year period of transformation, marked by the arrival of a “Ratatouille” ride “Guardians of the Galaxy” indoor roller coaster for Walt Disney World’s 50-year Anniversary in 2021.

It is a significant shift of the roots of Disney’s technology – and science-centric theme park that grew out of Walt’s plans for an idyllic futuristic city, but the fans of the nearly two-year-old show won’t be broken. Walt Disney World is the replacement of long-term Magic Kingdom nighttime fireworks show “Wishes with long and Happy” last year got a lot of praise. The forward-thinking, visually stunning masterpiece has since become a not to miss part of a Disney World vacation for the stories, the special effects and the wonderful soundtrack.

It’s all but guaranteed that a combination of similar jaw-dropping features to make IllumiNations’ replacement even more of a spectacle, in honor of Epcot’s innovative the origin in the design, or a rotating globe cracks wide open in the end.

In terms of technology specifically, we find it no small coincidence that Disney carried out a drone shows a similar-sized body of water for Christmas two years back. Or they are actually taken into use, one thing is for sure: 2019 is an important year for Orlando.
