At the beginning of August, it was reported that Disney’s CEO Bob Iger commented on the drop in the park, in the presence of, and impact on the Galaxy’s Edge in a transcription. Based on his comments, it was found that several factors played a role in fewer people visiting the park than you may expect. (Attendance was reported, a decrease of 3 per cent in the company and in the national parks.)

Iger claimed, “Some people stayed away because they expected that it would be a great experience for our guest.” Another factor in his theory, the increase in the costs associated with a trip to Disneyland.
