‘Disney conducts interviews with family Fisher about vervolgfilms’
The movie studio behind Star Wars is in discussion with the heirs of Carrie Fisher. Disney would, according to the BBC, need the permission of the family to Fishers at the latest digital and to use in new films.
The actress became famous as Princess Leia in the first three Star Wars movies from the seventies and eighties. She returned in that role in The Force Awakens 2015.
After her death, just before the turn of the year, should Disney decide what to do with that role happened. Although Fisher recordings for the next movie had already been completed, there is likely to be, and anyway, digital technology for the film.
It will not be the first time that a deceased actor to see in a Star Wars movie. In the Rogue One, which last december came out, fifteen years ago deceased actor Peter Cushing in his role as Grand Moff Tarkin. That was done in consultation with the family of Cushing. Also a young version of Carrie Fisher is in that movie over, thanks to a combination of a stand-in and visual techniques.
