With a few high-profile exhibitions, such as that of Paul Smith in 2015 and of Axelle Red in 2013, lured Kenneth Ramaekers tens of thousands of visitors from all over Europe to Hasselt.
Kenneth Ramaekers (°1975) was established on 1 October 2008 appointed as a director of the Modemuseum Hasselt. He has curated several notable exhibitions such as “In her Shoes” (2009) and “Devout/Devine – Fashion vs Religion” (2010).
Expo’s such as “UltraMegaLore” (2010) and “Axelle Red – Fashion Victim” (2013) gifts to the fashion museum international resonance. After Kenneth Ramaekers designer Paul Smith managed to tie for the exhibition “Hello, my name is Paul Smith” in 2015, realized the museum with more than 53,000 visitors again a new record.
