‘Souvenir’, the second feature film by Bavo Defurne, makes its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, which takes place from 8 to 18 september.

‘Souvenir’ is the story about making a comeback, which is also the necessary ups and downs to come and watch. The French topactrice Isabelle Huppert plays the role of Liliane. As ‘Laura’, she was once the rising star in the firmament of the bright song. They even took part in the European Song Contest. Today she is forgotten. She leads a reclusive life in an apartment stuffed with relics from its glory days and comes at the cost of a vleeswarenfabriek where they bay leaves on pate explains.
