DEVELOPMENT: At least one active shooter was reported on the campus of the Ohio State University on Monday and as many as seven people were reportedly injured.
“Run Hide Fight,” the school tweeted at 9:56 pm
Campus police tweeted the same alert, and wrote in a tweet, “Continue to shelter in place. Avoid the area of the College.”

There was no official word on whether a shooting had occurred or if there are any injuries, but local reports said seven people were taken to an area hospital, one in critical condition.

The school newspaper, The Lantern, which is indicated in a tweet that someone was down.
“There is at least one body bag in the front of Koffolt Labs,” read the tweet. “OSU police still advise you to seek shelter. Situation is not under control.”
Tim Moody, associate editor of the Buckeye Sports Bulletin, tweeted that the seven p[eople were taken to hospitals, including one in critical condition.
The school paper also tweeted that there might be a second offender.
The vast 58,000-student campus in downtown Columbus is one of the country’s largest.
