A transgender pride flag, will appear in front of the Democratic Republic of the Kim Schrier office.
Several democratic lawmakers this week replaced the POW/MIA flags that show outside of their Capitol Hill offices with a Transgender equality flag to commemorate “Trans visibility week” photos.
The move reportedly came at the behest of the “National Center for Transgender equality”. The group tweeted on Tuesday that it has delivered the flags to every member of Congress – even the Republicans – with the request that they be flown, outside of their offices.
Sen Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., tweeted a photo of his office with the transgender is displayed flag, write: “discrimination has no place in our society. I am proud to have this flag as a symbol of my support for transgender people across the country. We need to stand with transgender people in all of our community.”

Rep. Kim Schrier, D-Wash., several Democratic legislators in whose office represented was in this week with the transgender pride flag instead of the POW/MIA flag.
“As a proud member of the @LGBTEqCaucus,” Schrier tweeted late Wednesday morning, “I will do everything I can to ensure that transgender people #WontBeErased by violence, fear or prejudice. I am committed to safety and equality for all. #TRANS visibility week”
A report by the Washington Free Beacon a photo-shot outside Schrier office is shown included in the January with the POW/MIA flag. Your office, allegedly, of the Free Beacon informs that the switch is only temporary.
Some Democrats, such as Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., be displayed the transgender pride flag next to the POW/MIA flag.

Rep. Joe Kennedy, D-Mass., said that the policy amounted to “purposeful discrimination.” Armed Services Chairman Adam Smith, D-Wash., trump said the policy “is based primarily on ignorance and bias against the transgender community.”

Speaking from the floor in support of the resolution, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, had pride, a transgender flag in front of your office, said: “There is no moral justification for this prohibition violates all the values of our American democracy.”
