Dems’ ‘Abolish ICE” planned “reckless”, would ” absolutely not less safe,’ Deputy Director says

Democrats are ” calling for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement “reckless and irresponsible” plans of the USA would make “absolutely less safe,” the ICE Director to act Fox News said on Wednesday.

Mark Morgan, a former head of the U.S. Border Patrol under President Obama, claims the “Tucker Carlson Tonight”, people would increase injuries such as exploitation of children and trafficking in human beings, when the Agency was switched on.

He said ICE-Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Department is of crucial importance in the prevention of such crimes.

“In the last year alone, 34,000 euros arrests,” Morgan said, referring to ICE statistics. “Human trafficking cases, the exploitation of children, it is 1.2 billion US dollars in the currency seized.”

“If you have someone who represents the reckless, irresponsible rhetoric on the ICE will be abolished, this is what is going to happen,” he claimed. “In this country there is absolutely less safe.”

Morgan said as 66,000 people have been deported in the first part of 2019, many of them had additional criminal convictions.

“So, 66,000 [people would] be deported,” he said.

Morgan said he believed that the Congress must act immediately to fix the current guidelines, such as those under the 1997 Flores v. Reno settlement, which, he claimed, hinders ICE, the ability to do their job effectively. He called for the legislature to ICE-financing.

In the last year, many prominent lawmakers now Elizabeth Warren, D is running for the nomination of the Democrats-including Sens. Mass., Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. — declared their support for the closure of the Agency.
