To discuss President Obama’s trip next week on Capitol Hill, ObamaCare is only the most recent-and most visible — a sign that the Democrats are willing to fight to change the Republican plans, the President’s signature health law, as well as Medicaid and Medicare.
Obama’s visit on Wednesday with house and Senate Democrats on the day after the 114. Congress convenes, and Republicans have the majority in both chambers, are expected to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
“Step one, the ObamaCare replacement is legislation at the beginning of the year,” Senate majority Leader Mitch McConnell said a few weeks ago, as members of its 2016 session closed.
“Bring it on,” incoming Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, said in response.
Fellow Democrats all the signs that you also GOP intend to fight to change efforts to mobilize government-subsidized health care programs, and support among Americans for their efforts.gave it, essentially
Earlier this week, house Democrats participated in a telephone conference, the discussions on the protection of ObamaCare and the entitlement programs targeted by Republicans, a congressional source told FoxNews.com.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, of California, said last week that fellow Democrats that they are “ready to fight vigorously for America’s hard-working families” against such efforts, including those by the incoming Republican President, Donald Trump, who has called ObamaCare a “disaster,” and promised, if elected, to repeal the 2010 law.
Also, they called on you, to keep you warned of events, the voters in your district about the GOP’s plans, including what she says is the speaker of the house of representatives Paul Ryan design to “privatize” Medicare, the government-subsidized health insurance for the elderly and the disabled.
Pelosi, Schumer, and Vermont sen. Bernie Sanders, Independent, have also called for a national “day of action” on may 15. January, to mark five days before the trump of the inauguration, GOP-cutting efforts or to change significantly, “the crucial and necessary medical programs.”
As a proof, that the trump is set, repealed and replaced, at least in major parts of ObamaCare, the government-mandate insurance, which is becoming more expensive for Americans, they point out that the President-elect nominated for the Georgia GOP Rep. Tom Price to run the Department of Health and Human Services. Price is a big critic of ObamaCare.
Ryan, R-Wis., laid she has a plan to make changes to ObamaCare, Medicare, and Medicaid, in an attempt to create a single health plan and give the Americans what he calls a better access to “affordable and quality health care.”
“ObamaCare, the things of day-to-day is worse. It drives the premiums and the costs for individuals, families and businesses keep,” Ryan says plan in his “Better way”. “ObamaCare must be fully repealed, so that we can start and take a new approach.”
Still, Congress, Republican leaders have made it clear in recent weeks that a full ObamaCare replacement plan, could be two to four years, with no alternative available, and the probability of leaving, about 22 million Americans without insurance before the 2018 midterm elections.
