Actress Demi Moore is writing a memoir that will details the relationship with her mother and ex husband.
Demi Moore apparently had a hard time to overcome her breakup and divorce from Ashton Kutcher.
Six years after their split, it was a success, and the “A Few Good men’ star is opening up about the toll that the breakdown of her marriage had on her physical and mental health.
“It has really played havoc with her self-esteem,” a source told People of Moore’s split from Kutcher, now 41. “Demi was confused about her life and what direction her career would take when she’s older.”

Moore, 56, and the “Punk’d” co-creator, started their romance in 2003 and when they met each other at the dinner table with your friends. The couple would marry two years later, and divorced in 2011, and were formally divorced in may 2013.

According to The New York Times, Moore wrote in her upcoming memoir, “Inside Out,” which she blamed herself for a miscarriage and her and Kutcher’s child, of six months old. Moore also reveals that she started the abuse of Vicodin and alcohol to cope, which ultimately spelled doom for the relationship.
“The divorce of catherine Ashton it was just a nightmare for her. It took her years to get over it,” People reported. “She was always very insecure about their age difference, and it is a terrible thing, and that Ashton is her.”

The magazine also quoted a source saying: “They had a lot of self-blame, and resentment against himself for the split. She was really, really struggling mentally, and it will not take care of themselves.”
But all is not doom and gloom for the “Indecent Proposal” star. According to People, Moore has been in a lot better place to live, and in the extensive work to help themselves achieve a healthier mental space.
“She really has changed a lot over the past couple of years. You can tell that she is very happy and is enjoying her life,” the source said. “They’re going to go to therapy and work towards a positive and kind person in herself.”

“They wanted to liberate themselves from the trauma and grief endured after her split from Ashton, but it was a struggle,” he said of the source of Moore’s motivation for writing her book. “Demi has been trying to improve her life, the enhancement of self-esteem and healthy for several years to come. Spill it all out in a personal memoir, it is a way to close the old door to the new one.”
“Inside Out” will be available on Sept. 24.
