A Delta passenger spotted baggage handlers “recklessly” throwing the suitcases and dropping a stroller on the ground.
After seeing the latest viral airport video, you will not be surprised next time that your luggage arrives in less than perfect conditions.
Delta passenger Joshua Swain Firth was at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Wednesday, when he spotted the employees throw the bags and the stroller down a ramp to be loaded on the aircraft, Inc. reports.
Firth included the employees, stating the lack of care and attention to ensure that the luggage will not get damaged.
In the video, a suitcase is thrown with the handle still in a pram is thrown so carelessly enough that it bounces out of the gutter and falls to the ground.
“We were witness of this Delta Air Lines baggage handler recklessly throw bags and baby strollers yesterday. He was mistreating those bags. But the stroller was attempted murder,” Firth wrote on Facebook, where he posted the video.
A lot of people are commenting on the video expressed their anger about the way in which the luggage was being handled, with others, sharing stories of how their own luggage was damaged in the past.

“Broke my $500 stroller last week in Atlanta. We landed and the wheel was wrong. Had to run to my connecting flight with a 3-wheel stroller,” another person said.
Others were not surprised with the video, and notes that it may not be realistic for the workers to handle each piece of luggage with the utmost care.

“I don’t think the man was reckless…ppl are waiting on their luggage, so that you can solve, as quickly as possible. Then y’all complain that the luggage taking too long! The stroller just happen to bounce,” another person wrote.
A spokesman of Delta Air Lines, released the following statement to Fox News: “We apologize for the lack of care shown during the treatment of the stroller in this video and follows up directly with the employee to ensure a better treatment in the future. This is in no way representative of the great work of Delta people do every day, because they help thousands of clients and their luggage safely reach their destination.”

A similar video went viral earlier this year, when a luggage handler at the Honolulu Airport was included throwing the suitcases down from the slide.
Hawaiian Airlines responded to the video, apologizing for the way the luggage is handled. “…we are very very to see this and appreciate you bringing it to our attention,” the carrier tweeted from their official account. “The way these bags are processed, is not acceptable and our Airport Operations Management team is addressing this situation.
