Delta flight makes emergency bathroom stop in Montana

BILLINGS, Mont. – A Delta flight from New York City to Seattle had to make a stop in Billings after the plane’s toilets stopped working, and the passengers could not take it any more.

The Billings Newspaper reports that the direct flight diverted hundreds of kilometres to the south on the Saturday to make an emergency bathroom stop.

Delta says that upon landing in Billings, the aircraft was to taxi to the cargo area because a gate was not available. Delta says troops rolled a staircase up to the plane so the passengers can get to find relief from the built-up pressure.”

A flight from New York City to Seattle about six hours.
