“The flight landed safely and without incident. We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience caused.”

Delta did not comment on the cause of the failure.

A Video taken by a passenger who has been identified as Rohan Srinivas, Heidi Hatch of KUTV in Salt Lake City, utah is one of the leading edges of the plane’s windscreen with more cracks.

“We would like to thank the pilot, and [for] the landing of our safety and security,” Srinivas reportedly told the station, adding that the crew did not “freak out” during the incident.
