A Delta flight attendant is looking for her lost her engagement ring after he slipped her finger into Denver International Airport on Thursday, just days after her fiance is a christmas Eve proposal.
Alexis Anthony’s fiancee, put the ring on her finger, while in Puerto Rico on Monday, FOX31 Denver reported. But a few days later, while Anthony was staying in Denver for a stopover, the flight attendant noticed that the ring was gone from her finger completely.
“It was the worst thing that could have happened to us,” Anthony told the station.

She told the station that she thinks the ring slipped off in the near of the Crew of the Shuttle Island just outside the airport in the east of level 5.

The FOX31 troubleshooters helped search for the missing jewelry. After sorting through almost 300 missing rings in the airport lost and found and the ridges of the suspicious area, it was still not found.
“I think all our hearts go out to her and we are all looking for the ring, and hopefully we will get,” a DIA spokeswoman told the station.

With the engagement ring yet to be recovered, Anthony has vowed to return to Denver and stay until she recovers, FOX31 reported. Until then, she keeps hope that a good Samaritan will find it and turn in the ring.
