(Reuters) – Delta Air Lines Inc. said that it was not to be expected cancellations, as a result of a technical failure that had an impact on the booking, check-in and boarding services.
“Although we would expect that the flight is delayed, to extend, in the evening, some of the busiest domestic hubs because of this issue, and once again, we do not expect any technology-related cancellations,” the US carrier said in a statement.
“The Delta is the delay of the flights of our largest hub in Atlanta to reduce traffic congestion.”
A number of people took to social media to express their frustration at the delays caused by the problems.
“Delta, my wife and my 3-year-old son were at the airport waiting for you to present for up to 3 hours. Way to take a trip to Disney is great,” wrote one user on Twitter.
