Deliveroo shut down in Germany in order to focus on other markets

LONDON (Reuters) – British food-delivery service Deliveroo, it will cease operations in Germany, on Friday, in order to focus on other markets in Europe and elsewhere, a spokesman for the Amazon-backed company said on Monday.

The withdrawal of the Deliveroo – which says that of the 1,100 riders in the five cities, and has just under 100 employees in Germany to reduce the competition for Dutch rival Takeaway.com the previous year, agreed to buy larger rival Delivery Hero has been in the German food-supply of the market.
